1. One must be sure of the day trading and understand it in the correct perspective to get the best from the stock market.


2. Day Trading is a technique where one undertakes the position in stock market and the ultimate aim is to square the position before the end of that day. Thus commitment of funds is minimum and one is immune to overnight developments as position is generally held for a few seconds or minutes or for a few hours.


3. As a day trader one may undertake innumerous trades and squaring off the trade may be at fractions of a point to a few points per trade. Thus one is trying to capitalize on price movement within a trading day.
