Infosys is definitely beating the trend of recession as it is inducting 20,000 engineering graduates this year and that too with an increase of more than 8.3 % higher salary from what was offered last year i.e. an engineering graduate will be getting Rs 3.25 Lakh per annum instead of 3 Lakh and joining letters have been issued as their plan is to get the best talent even in the times of recesion. However only thing which is pinching us is that the engineering graduates are being paid peanuts and that too by a company like Infosys.

2. Infosys deserves accolades as its industry rivals like TCS, Wipro and HCL Technologies are deferring the joining dates for new hires; whereas Infosys has been able to fulfill its commitment of making engineering graduates join at a higher pay scale. Moreover it has increased their training period from 4 months to 8 months to enable them to fight the recession in a better manner.
